Adriaterra Property Advisors is a two-person consultancy built on careful observation, practical experience, and independent thinking.

 

We are Laura and Stefano. We are multilingual, have lived and worked across four different cultures, and have travelled extensively throughout Europe and Asia. Our international background allows us to understand both the expectations of foreign buyers and the realities on the ground in Italy.

 

Over the past 25 years, we have purchased, renovated, designed, and built multiple properties in the United Kingdom, Romania, and Italy, ranging from urban apartments to rural homesteads. Our experience is hands-on and direct: we personally designed buildings and utilities, selected materials, procured supplies, chose and coordinated building teams, and closely supervised construction work.

 

One of our projects was an off-grid rural homestead in Transylvania, Romania: a 200-square-metre house built on a two-acre plot, designed and executed according to strict energy-efficiency and durability principles. In Italy, we spent nearly two years searching for the right property, applying rigorous location and design criteria before purchasing an unfinished house on a two-acre plot, which we then completed through our own design work and on-site supervision.

 

Having designed, built, and lived in rural properties, we are particularly attentive to the subtle but decisive signals provided by landscape, terrain, orientation, and microclimate—alongside the structural, energy, and aesthetic aspects of the buildings themselves.
